  3. Many thanks all! Have finished a Vader image and will reveal that once I sort out the Yoda one to go alongside (Vader is nicely retro/nerdy!).

It’s awesome(and humbling) to have such a positive response to some personal work that I really enjoyed conceptualising and developing (I’m just particularly into old school Star Wars atm – I think it’s because of my anticipation for SWTOR lol!). Parody and mashup of things I love is hard to do cleverly at times (I want the brands and SW to still look "cool").

Again, thanks for the comments and welcome to the new Followers. Enjoy your time here and, oh of course, may the Force be with you, always…

  6. These shirts are EPIC! Found your site from a link at TheForce.net. When will you release the new Vader/Yoda images? I really want to buy a shirt or two but want to see those first. Keep up the great work!

  7. @JTN82 - only subconsciously sorry as, tbh, it was the link to food and Jabba/Pizza (5 letters, double bb's & zz's plus an "a" at end) with the main spark being Hut/Hutt and the shape of the red hut roof becoming Jabba (with little Crumb at his side).

  8. @Ron H - Awesome, thanks man + glad to see you drop by :-) Vader & Yoda are up at RedBubble & Society6 (links above and to the side etc). I really like the Vader one lots for some reason - I think it's simple/subtle vector stuff that does it for me the most...

  11. just a question: wondering if you really do have any thoughts on how to cut up a roast unicorn... or maybe a BBQ panda? I have a friend who is in need of such recipes :)

  12. @ AKg - LOL! Hmmmm, the forbidden roast of a Kung Fu Panda in bamboo sauce... ;-)

  15. Awesome, cheers guy + pleased to view a person visit ::) Vader & Yoda tend to be upward at RedBubble & Society6 (hyperlinks earlier mentioned and also to the side and many others). I like the particular Vader one lots for some reason * I believe it can be simple/subtle vector stuff should it to me probably the most...

  16. Brand Wars is cool. Will Goerge Lucas and crew try to sue you.

  17. @BobbieQueen: It would be pretty petty if they did plus, considering I'm currently out of work and outta money, they would have more luck squeezing water from a rock tbh :-/

I hope that GL and the company brands involved would think it was cool.

  18. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what's the difference between a shirt through your store vs. the RedBubble one? Diff quality?

    1. Hey Ron, RedBubble is direct to garment printing (basically a printer used for t-shirts) and my Big Cartel is the higher quality/durability “normal” screen-printed version (like tees you get from TeeFury, etc). RedBubble is good for the cost and choice of tee colours, but the screen-printed version is more vibrant and will last much longer after washing.

DTG prints have come along way, but prints do tend to look better on lighter tee colours rather than on dark (unless one colour like white ink on a black tee).

Oh, and different brands of tees - I use AS Colour tees and RB uses American Apparel. Both are excellent, but I liked the AS range particularly for the hoodies and nice mid tee weight (I picked stuff I wanted to wear and compared to Threadless & TeeFury items I owned).

Hope that helps – I’ve gone off and made this answer into an essay ;-)

    2. Haha no that was great! Thanks for all the info. It sounds like I should wait for you to restock the Big Cartel ones since they're higher quality. Do the AS Colour tees you make fit true to size? When are you going to restock?

    3. http://htcru.bigcartel.com/sizing is pretty accurate and worth the time to measure your favourite t-shirts and compare to the sizing charts. I like the AS Colour tees and they’re a great fit – well, my medium green "Jedi" top is rocking still (I wanted to trial one from the start and wear/wash as per normal so I could see how it went). Screen-printed stuff really lasts well and when it does slowly get old it just adds that sexy distressed effect ;-)

Oh, x15 new men’s black “Sith” tees and x15 men’s navy (with blue saber) “Jedi” tees are coming out next week. I’ll put some promo pictures up on blogs when they arrive to let people know. Hopefully earlier in the week, but see how it pans out.

    4. Thanks. I'll measure my favorite shirt tonight and figure this out. I really appreciate all the responses and your awesome designs. New navy shirt looks nice. Any plans to make brown saber shirts?

    5. Hey, welcome Ron. Brown shirts with blue saber is a possibility, but I was thinking (if navy/green men's Jedi tees sellout) to a) restock the classic green or b) have a dark grey ie charcoal tee with a icy blue blade swoosh. We shall see... :-)
